Drive Smarter, Not Harder.
Meet the Ultra Racing Spring Buffer.
The world's first dual-layer coil spring buffer — engineered to soften the rough stuff without dulling the drive. Comfort when you cruise, control when it counts.
Two layers. One smarter ride.
Most spring buffers force a trade-off: soft enough for comfort, or firm enough for support — never both. The Ultra Racing Spring Buffer is the world's first to deliver both at once.
A soft outer layer cushions everyday bumps and road chatter for a smoother, quieter ride. A reinforced inner core stiffens under load to keep your suspension composed through corners, dips, and hard braking.
The result is a buffer that adapts to how you drive — relaxed when you're cruising, planted when you push.
Built to perform, designed to last.
On-demand support
Stays out of the way during normal driving and engages only when you need it — over speed bumps, through corners, on rough roads, and under braking.
High-durability TPU
Moulded from thermoplastic polyurethane for outstanding elasticity and wear resistance — it keeps its shape and bounce season after season.
Secure bolt-on fit
Held firmly by bolts, nuts, and a purpose-built Z-clip — no flimsy cable ties that loosen or slip over time.
Smoother daily comfort
Takes the harsh edge off potholes and joints so the cabin stays calm, quiet, and composed on your everyday commute.
Confident handling
The reinforced core limits excess body movement, keeping the car flatter and more planted when you change direction or brake hard.
Fits ~90% of coil springs
One smart design covers the vast majority of coil-spring vehicles on the road — we'll confirm your exact fit before you order.
Intelligent support, exactly when you need it.
The Spring Buffer reads the road through your suspension — quiet when things are smooth, firm when they're not.
Cruising
On smooth roads the buffer stays relaxed, letting your suspension move freely for a comfortable ride.
Impact
Hit a speed bump or pothole and the soft outer layer absorbs the shock before it reaches you.
Load
Through corners or under braking, the reinforced core compresses to resist body roll and dive.
Reset
As the load eases, the TPU springs back to shape — ready for whatever the road throws next.

Frequently asked
How do I order if it's not listed on the site yet?
The Spring Buffer is a brand-new release, available to order now. Because it fits so many vehicles, we confirm the correct fitment for your car before finalising the order. Just email support@ultraracing.com with your make, model, and year and we'll take care of the rest.
What exactly does a spring buffer do?
It sits between the coils of your suspension spring and acts as a progressive cushion. The Ultra Racing buffer absorbs harsh impacts for a smoother ride, while its reinforced core adds support that reduces body roll and dive when cornering or braking.
What makes it "dual-layer"?
It combines two materials in one part: a soft outer layer tuned for comfort and a reinforced inner core tuned for support. To our knowledge it's the first spring buffer in the world to do both — the design is currently Patent Pending.
Will it fit my car?
The buffer is designed to fit approximately 90% of coil-spring vehicles. Send us your make, model, and year and we'll confirm compatibility before you order.
Will it make my ride too stiff?
No. The buffer only firms up when it's loaded — over bumps, in corners, or under braking. During normal cruising it stays soft, so everyday comfort is preserved.
How is it installed and what's it made of?
It mounts securely with bolts, nuts, and a purpose-built Z-clip — far more durable than the cable ties used on conventional buffers. It's moulded from high-durability TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) for excellent elasticity and long-term wear resistance. Professional installation is recommended.
